Greener Pastures

When our pastoral farm wedding was announced, there was some initial confusion as to the elegance of the occasion. Were guests expected to dress up, or was it more informal? How informal? Are jean shorts permitted??

To paint a clearer portrait of the wondrous evening that lay ahead, the invitations were intentionally elegantized — black paper letterpressed with gold ink.

It turned out to be a very elegant event.
